CrossFit is tough, but it’s worth it. There are many success stories. Not only do people repeatedly lose a few pounds, gain a bit of muscle, and achieve personal bests, but their lives change. The bodies and minds of people before and after CrossFit are the complete opposite. People are happier, and their bodies are at their strongest and healthiest. Here are some examples of amazing CrossFit body transformations for men and women.
Nate was addicted to drugs and smoking. That kept his weight down. But, when he decided to get clean, the weight packed on. When introduced to CrossFit, he finally got healthy. Not just physically, but Nate beat his anxiety and depression as well.
After randomly losing a lot of weight, Patrick found out he had Celiac Disease. He fixed his diet. Then, he found CrossFit. He hit the gym often during the week. He gained back the forty pounds he lost, plus lots of muscle. But his body transformation was more than that! He is in the best shape of his life now—even better than when he was a physical trainer in college!
Brooke put on 60 unnecessary pounds during pregnancy. She struggled with weight her whole life. But, when she found CrossFit, she lost the weight within a year. But, her body transformation was more than just weight loss. It was an inspiration, too. Brooke says, “I want to show my little girl that eating healthy and exercising are important parts of life.”

Lindsay Stoddard Sudell
Lindsay wanted to be skinny—like a model. So, she restricted her dieting and looked anorexic. She called herself thin, helpless, and frail. But, after joining CrossFit, she put on muscle weight. Lindsay says she would rather choose her CrossFit self than her skinny self any day. “I love my stronger self. I can do so many more things that once seemed impossible,” she said.
At 77 years old, her body was failing her. Constance had multiple replacement surgeries: knees, hips, rotator cuffs. Rather than feel sorry for herself, she decided to help herself. After starting CrossFit, she has lost weight, gotten stronger, and dropped some pills she needs. She is stronger than ever and has a large CrossFit supportive family.
At 48 years old, Angel weighed 231 pounds. He suffered snoring, sleep apnea, high cholesterol, and a fatty liver. His doctor said he had to lose 20 pounds ASAP or else. Angel found CrossFit. He trained six days a week for at least 45 minutes. He began to eat more healthy. Now, at 50, he has lost over one hundred pounds!
